CHILDREN'S BOOK
It's Ally's Turn
When I decided to write a book for Scarlett, my grandniece, it had to be about her favorite bird, the Owl. Even though I am an animal artist, I would find the owls very difficult. So my dear friend, Roberta Davis agreed to do the illustrations. My job, surprisingly, would be the easy one. I knew I had to accomplish three things. 1. Who would be my heroin, 2. what would her problem be, and 3. how would it be solved. When these three were solved, I knew I had to have a lesson in self faith taught to Ally. The book finally came together and we are both very happy with the results.
Saving Alezia's Baby
When I decided to write another book for Scarlett, it had on the road to be about her new favorite, the Giraffe. I knew little about them, so I had to research them. I knew my book had to have a lesson in trust taught to Aezia’s baby. I planned at first that I, as an artist, I would illustrate the book. I soon realized that, I would find the giraffe and the story very difficult., I spent months with my brother, Gary Love, drafting pictures with computer graphics to match my story line. Finally, it all came together and we are both very happy with the results.

What would you do if you had a pet with talent? Well, since I am a writer, I decided to put out a book about her. I will be mean and not tell you what she did that was different. You will have to read the book. It will be easy though because there are a lot of nice pictures, some of them, like the cover, I have painted. Have fun.
